Baranidharan Subramani is the Chairman and Managing Director of D2B Building Contracting LLC, bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in the civil construction industry across the UAE. A qualified Civil Engineer by discipline, he has built a distinguished track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects spanning retail, residential, filling stations, industrial facilities and commercial developments.
As the visionary founder of D2B, Baranidharan has been the driving force behind the company's growth from a focused civil contractor to an integrated, three-division construction powerhouse. His leadership philosophy is centered on building long-term trust with clients, investing in people, and maintaining uncompromising quality across every project.
Under his leadership, D2B has earned the trust of some of the UAE's most prestigious clients — including EMAAR, ENOC, EPPCO, Dubai Municipality and private developers across Dubai's finest addresses. He personally oversees key client relationships, project strategy and the company's continued expansion across new sectors and geographies.
Mohammed Aaftab serves as General Manager of D2B Building Contracting LLC, bringing over 15 years of diverse experience across the construction and industrial sectors in the UAE. A qualified Mechanical Engineer, he plays a central role in managing the day-to-day operations of the company — from project execution and procurement to client coordination and team leadership.
Aaftab's expertise spans the full project lifecycle — ensuring that every engagement from initial scoping through to final handover is delivered with precision, efficiency and client satisfaction. His strong commercial acumen and operational discipline have been instrumental in scaling D2B's portfolio and operational capacity.
A collaborative and proactive leader, he is known for his ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors — ensuring seamless coordination across D2B's three integrated divisions and maintaining the company's commitment to on-time, within-budget project delivery.
Mohamed Rafiq is D2B's Director of Operations — one of the most experienced construction professionals in the UAE with over 29 years of industry expertise. A Civil Engineer with a career spanning major developments across Dubai and the wider UAE, his depth of knowledge, judgment and on-site leadership are unmatched within the organisation.
Prior to joining D2B, Rafiq held senior positions at Beaver Gulf Group, where he led construction works for ADNOC, EMAAR, NSHAMA and Al Ghurair Real Estate — successfully delivering large-scale residential complexes, commercial buildings and infrastructure projects. His experience managing multi-storied residential buildings, Town Square developments and major government projects gives D2B an exceptional operational advantage.
As Director of Operations, he is responsible for overseeing all project execution activities — ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. His encyclopedic knowledge of UAE construction regulations, authority requirements and industry best practice makes him an invaluable asset to every project D2B undertakes.
Abdul Kader heads D2B's MEP Engineering Division, bringing over 15 years of specialist experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across the UAE's construction sector. A qualified Electrical Engineer, he has successfully overseen the delivery of 30+ MEP projects — earning a strong reputation for technical precision, authority coordination expertise and zero-compromise quality standards.
His deep familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks — including DEWA, FEWA, SEWA, Trakhees and DCD — enables D2B to navigate complex approval processes efficiently and reliably. This expertise is particularly valuable on projects involving ENOC, EPPCO and ADNOC filling stations and oil & gas facilities, where compliance with stringent technical standards is non-negotiable.
As MEP Division Manager, Abdul Kader leads a skilled team of MEP engineers and technicians — personally overseeing project design coordination, system commissioning and final handover. His leadership ensures that D2B's MEP works are seamlessly integrated with civil and fitout activities, enabling the company to deliver true turnkey solutions to its clients.
